Our teams developed a social responsibility project for 48 MW Soma-4 WPP extension project, in order to inform the local community about renewable energy. We welcomed 17 primary school students from a local primary school, Hamidiye Primary School, to Soma wind farm. The students were first provided with a basic education to introduce them to renewable energy and raise environmental consciousness. A workshop with different activities was held and children were encouraged to build model wind turbines. The students were also given the opportunity to observe a real wind turbine on site.
