Burgaz WPP was taken under operation in August 2007 with 18 turbines and 14.9 MW installed power.

• Burgaz WPP generates 40 million kWh of electricity per year and meets the annual need of 20.000 people.
• Burgaz WPP has a Gold Standard Certificate and leads to 33.582 tons of emission reduction each year.

Sayalar WPP
Sayalar WPP started commercial operation in June 2008 with 38 turbines and 34.2 MW installed power. In 2012, the capacity will be extended to 54.2 MW with an additional investment of 24 million Euros.

• Sayalar WPP generates 82 million kWh of electricity per year and meets the annual need of 40.000 people.
• Sayalar WPP has a Gold Standard Certificate and leads to 85.000 tons of emission reduction each year.

Kozbeyli WPP
Kozbeyli WPP will be taken under operation in 2012 with 15 turbines and an installed power of 30 MW.

• Kozbeyli WPP will generate 93 million kWh of electricity per year and meet the annual need of 46.500 people.
• Kozbeyli WPP will reduce 56.500 tons of emission each year.

It is planned to take Samurlu WPP under operation in 2012 with 15 turbines and 30 MW installed power.

Seyitali WPP
Seyitali WPP started commercial operation in July 2011 with 15 turbines and 30 MW installed capacity.

• Seyitali WPP will generate 90 million kWh of electricity per year and meet the annual need of 45.000 people.
• Seyitali WPP will reduce 57.000 tons of emission each year.

Poyraz Enerji Elektrik Üretim A.S.
Poyraz RES
Poyraz WPP is the largest project of Polat Energy-Demirer Energy partnership with an installed capacity of 54,9 MW. The plant will be taken under operation in 2012 with 28 turbines.

• Poyraz WPP will generate 155 million kWh of electricity per year and meet the annual need of 77.500 people.
• Poyraz WPP will reduce 98.500 tons of emission each year.

Soma Enerji Elektrik Üretim A.S.
Soma WPP
Soma WPP is one of the largest onshore wind power plants in Turkey and Europe with its 119 turbines and 140,1 MW installed power.
The first part of Soma WPP with 88 turbines and an installed capacity of 79,2 MW  was taken under operation in October 2010. By the end of 2011, whole wind farm will be under commercial operation. When the certification process is completed, Soma WPP will be one of the largest wind plant in Europe with Gold Standard Certificate.

Soma WPP General Information:

• Investment cost for Soma WPP 1st stage is 100 million Euros.
• Investment cost for Soma WPP 2nd stage is 70 million Euros.
• Investment cost for Soma WPP is 170 million Euros.
• Expected annual electricity generation is 405 million kWh.
• When completed, the plant will meet the electricity need of 200.000 people.
• Soma WPP will reduce 297.000 tons of emission each year.
• It is the only wind park in Turkey which is connected to 380.000 V voltage level.
• 380.000 V energy transmission line length is 22 km.
• Soma WPP area is 123 million m2.
• The area of the land leased from the Ministry of Forestry is 1.150.000 m2.
•  In Construction Soma WPP 25,000 m3 of concrete and 4000 tons of iron will be used.
• Total length of roads to be constructed is 62 km.

When all the investments are completed in 2012, Polat Energy will approximately produce 1 billion kWh of electricity and have 684.000 tons of emission reduction each year.

Apart from ongoing investments, Polat Energy develops new projects with a target of increasing its installed power in wind energy to 500 MW in 2015.
